Singapore Garden MIFGS 2006

Singapore Garden at MIFGS 2006

Gold Medal & Award for Best Design

The Singapore Garden City ‘Lush’ garden brought a taste of Singapore for the first time to the Melbourne International Flower & Garden Show in 2006.

The garden drew from elements of Singapore’s rich and exciting history, diverse cultures, customs and traditions, as well as its reputation as a garden city to create a contemporary garden depicting the future of Singapore style gardens.

Much of the inspiration for the garden came from my experience working in Singapore, where I created a garden in the Singapore Botanic Gardens in Sept 2005 to launch the first Singapore Garden Festival in Dec 2006 @sggardenfest
