INITIAL CONSULTATION Jim will schedule a convenient time for you to visit him at his office to discuss the project. This 20 minute meeting will enable him to get an overview of the project. Jim will then discuss the process of design and provide an outline of fees.
SITE VISIT
If you are happy to proceed to the next step then Jim will arrange a site visit. He will gather information regarding your garden preferences such as taste, colour schemes, styles and lifestyle requirements to determine his design approach. Jim will make notes and rough sketches for his reference during the design stage. There are no deliverables at this stage.
i.
Cost of Site Visit: $250 + GST (Weekdays only)

ii.
Additional Charges: $150 per hour plus GST (Weekdays only)

additional charges will be incurred.

or interstate location, please contact our office and we would
be happy to provide you with a fee and suitable time for the

FEE PROPOSAL
Once the site visit has taken place, a written fee proposal will be submitted. This outlines the stages of design work required and the fees for each stage. As a guide, the total landscape design fee will equate to roughly 10% of the total landscape construction cost of your garden. For example a garden costing $100,000 to construct, will have a design fee of approximately $10,000 + GST. If you are satisfied with the fee proposal, you simply sign the letter of engagement, return it to our office, and the design and drafting process is booked in for a start date.
