This single storey Victorian house in Armadale needed a smart garden makeover to get it through the drought. To reduce cost, existing second hand red brick paving was retained, and the dead front lawn was turned into large garden beds filled with grasses, native shrubs and succulents for foliage effect.
The back garden was decked and screened and a deck bench was built to make a feature of the impressive Peppercorn tree which dominates the back garden.
